Ampthill and Flitwick Dramatic Society are proud to announce our next production will be...
TADS Theatre, Toddington, on June 21st, 22nd and 23rd 2018
Directed by Sarah Benjamin
The Importance of Being Earnest (A Trivial Comedy for Serious People) is a farcical comedy in which the protagonists maintain fictitious personæ to escape burdensome social obligations. Contemporary reviews all praised the play's humour, while one considered it the culmination of Wilde's artistic career so far. Its high farce and witty dialogue have helped make The Importance of Being Earnest Wilde's most enduringly popular play.
For over 70 years, AFDS has been producing theatrical productions in central Bedfordshire. Based in the Ampthill and Flitwick area, we typically perform two shows a year with recent popular comedy productions including Yes Prime Minister, Vicar of Dibley, Fawlty Towers, One Man Two Governors, Dick Barton, and Allo Allo. Our December 2018 show should see us back in Stewartby Village Hall
